Welcome to the 2009 108th annual meeting of the AAA and to Philadelphia - a small town city full of charm and a metropolitan center with exciting districts and neighborhoods. It is a city of history, home to America's most historic square mile, which is within eight blocks of the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown headquarters hotel.

Philadelphia is a city of eclectic neighborhoods and navigating is easy. The Avenue of the Arts is a city district packed with theatres, museums, concert halls and performing arts venues. You can walk from the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and view its renowned American art collection. undefined

The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown is located in the heart of center city where in addition to walking to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts you can walk to the century old Reading Terminal Market and to the Chinatown Friendship Gate, Chinatown's welcome to the best in Asian cuisine.

The Marriott is an easy trip to the Liberty Bell/Independence Hall, Penn's Landing/Waterfront area and the Franklin Institute Science Museum.
